We are all in the pursuit of happiness…
How will we know if we reach our pursuit of happiness? Is there a point in our lives that we know for sure that we are happy and that what we are doing is what we want to do for the rest of our lives? I am at a point in my life where I need to continue that journey of pursuing what makes me happy. Right now everything makes me happy, family, work, and friends. Sometimes I find myself lost and realizing that I can do better, but that’s what makes us human right, we make mistakes and we grow from them and that’s what makes us happy. i’ve learned in the last month that I have to take responsibility for my actions, and that it will be best for the people around me. I will be a college graduate, but what route do I take? I mean we only live in this lifetime once…will we come back to do even better things in our next life. The main thing is to keep focus on what makes us HAPPY in this moment. Day in and day out, I tell myself…Do what’s going to make you happy, do what’s going to make others around you happy, and you will live a Happy life! <3

Today I filled out a questionnaire on speakyourvotenm.com about the upcoming 2010 gubernatorial election. To Influence the election and speak out to the candidates go to speakyourvotenm.com and fill out the questionnaire!
Here is a little of what I wrote…
I would like the candidates to remember a couple of things. Remember the old saying “The youth are our future.” The candidates need to remember that although the youth are our future, more importantly the youth of today are our NOW! Even though they can’t vote they are the future leaders of our community, our state, our nation and our world. Everyday youth are labeled and are placed under certain stereotypes, we need to remember that youth and adults are equal, that they should have the same rights as adults do. When you are deciding what to do for the future of New Mexico you should always have in mind…”will this be good for the youth of New Mexico and the futures that they are going to live?” Also remember that people who have immigrated to the United States have dreams just like you do.
Remember…EVERY VOICE MATTERS!
